7 Writers Get To Strut Their Stuff (The Seven-Line Challenge)

7 Writers Get To Strut Their Stuff (The Seven-Line Challenge)

I feel like I'm very spoiled with all these awards.  What can I say?  Thank you.

Sharla Shults: http://catnipoflife.wordpress.com/2013/01/12/7-writers-get-to-strut-their-stuff-the-seven-line-challenge/#comment-3880 has tagged me in the 7-line challenge. Well, Miss Sharla is full of zim and zip and is a great influence to pick up your pen and right.  She is the queen of all and she presented a challenge for me.

My genre is every where.  I just finished my Y.O./teen Suspense book and am thrilled. (Except the part of doing the drop dead have to have query letter).  I also have a murder/mystery book done and is my next project to get it spiffed up.  And I also wrote a small play and have so many other ideas to write and have the plot on paper.

Here is the start of line 7 on page 77 in my book.  (I have more then 7 lines.  Sorry, I didn't want to break up the sentence)

Jim's parents had been smart, if a bit on the shady side. One of the caskets contained UK Royal antiques they'd taken in trade for fake cash, knowing the items would be a good investment, worth a small fortune in a future trade.  They were marked as being 20 feet to the left of the shack.  That was a nice little bonus.  He smirked.

The map indicated a couple places he hadn’t known about.  “Crap.  What did they want me to do?  Dig the whole dang field apart?”  Jim yanked his feet off the desk and plopped them on the ground.
It is now my turn to tag 7 other writers, whose works are varied both in product and stage, to keep the challenge going. Today I have selected avid followers from Google+.

This is your mission:  Go to line 7 on either page 7 or page 77 of your manuscript and do a post with the next 7 lines, then tag 7 people to keep the challenge going! This a short and savvy way to see what others out there in the blogosphere are writing.
