Okay, so I got my final draft back with the final edit suggestions. I took must of them but now I'm going over my book again getting rid of stuff. I printed it off and am reading it like a person buying a the book from the store.
It's helping me not be so dang critical. I need to stop or I'll end up with a completely different story. Is this normal? Do writers get over paranoid that your/their book isn't quit up to snuff to send it off to a agent or a publisher?
Do I need to keep my hands off of it?
You already know what I think...
ReplyDeleteWhen I was writing my story - I put stuff in, took stuff out, and finally said this is it and I am not going to make any more changes. Too much editing and your whole story changes.
