Yahoo.

Five query letters sent, five rejects received.  One even said they were sad it didn't quite grab their attention like they hoped.

Maybe in the next 100 (when I get to sending more) I'll get a like.  Fingers crossed.

    1. It's true that you need to persevere and not give up on your dreams, Jeanette. Even famous authors like Dr. Suess got dozens of rejections before his books were accepted. The Chicken Soup for the Soul authors got hundreds of rejection before they were published.

  3. Keep sending! The woman who wrote the help was rejected 60 some times before someone said yes.

  5. Rejections are hard, but it is important to keep trying! It can take a lot of queries before someone makes an offer. :) The author of The Help was rejected over 50 times and some of them weren't so kind. I read a wonderful and inspiring article in which she described the process.

Wishing you the best of luck!
