Piecing

I am reteaching myself how to paper piece blocks for a quilt I'm sewing (with trees) for my husband.  It got me thinking that writing is also paper piecing.  And after you read your draft, you are always moving pages, chapters, or both around to make it nice and in line with no gabs or uneven ends.
