Buried Secrets is done

Buried Secrets is done. Now working on the lovely query letters (with lots of help) Also working on book #2, Hidden Shadows.

And to top it off, my other book If I Only Knew (been done for a couple years) is being edited. Can't wait to get that all tidied up and in print. Wired (name of book) is starting to expand on it's plot. Am I busy? Oh ya. Do I love it? Double yes.

How's it going in your world?  Let me know and I'll get back with ya.

  1. I love all of it too! I love to hear of someone else who is juggling all sorts of projects. I am writing queries, editing, rewriting, outlining, researching, writing new novels, etc. etc. Sometimes there just isn't enough minutes in the day. I have a question for you: how do you plot out your day when you have so many projects to work on? That is something I struggle with on days when I am feeling overwhelmed. Also, How far into the editing/rewriting process do you do before you start querying and sending out book proposals?

  2. Thank you for your comments and yes, I'm guilty for not having a schedule. I can go days with out writing one work, then days going hours non stop writing late into the night. I carry a small notebook in my purse to write down any ideas that pop into my head. Or record my ideas on a mini tape-recorder when I'm driving. Have you even gotten a great idea or plot for your story and if you don't get it down quick you'll forget? I do more then I wish.

You need to have your book/story/article done to the best you can and put it to rest before you work on the letters/proposals and send them. If you do get an agent, they may request minor changes to better the story, but the more you do any changes if you keep reading it to correct, your book will become a whole different story. You don't want that to happen.

Hope that answers your questions and happy writing. :) You're not alone on the unbalanced act. Maybe we can help switch some of the weight around? lol
